These posts are spot on

I wouldn’t go as far as them stealing our star. They kinda bullied us a bit and got it. But this Friday it is time for us to beat those Germans on the road to getting our third star. I was 11 and still remember that game vividly today. I shredded a few tears, as did the Argentinean players. We were down to ten men and we gave up the penalty. I do have to admit it was a well-taken penaltyby Braehme. Even Sergio couldn’t stop that one. Although if we could only hold on a bit longer, we would most certainly beat them in penalties. And if anyone thinks winning on penalties is not pretty… ask Brazil if they care one of their stars was won that way… in 1994 against Italy.

Just for fun, here’s what the German kit would look like with only two stars:

I am not going to put three stars on an Argentina jersey yet… I will wait till we win the star on July 9.

I totally share the opinion of this WorldCupBlogger about what to wear on game day. I suppose I could wear my Chelsea jersey when Crespo is playing but I’m not even sure he is coming back to the Bridge. I could also wear my Batistuta/Maradona home strip. I can even wear the replica of the away strip (Le Coq Sportif 1986 Maradona)… the same one he wore when he scored the two contrasting goals against England. But no, I have been wearing the current Crespo Home strip. But I have washed it once after we beat the Netherlands.
